Live fashion illustrations are a memorable experience and a unique gift! Each guest recieves a stylized fashion illustration they can share on social media or take home to frame. Live fashion sketching is perfect for Brand Activations, Fashion Week’s, Weddings, Private parties, Red Carpets, VIP events, launches and Charity Galas. I would love to be a part of your next event! I’m based In Minneapolis & NYC and open to travel aroud the U.S. and overseas for events. My clients include Nordstrom, Tiffany’s, Dior, Armani, Louis Vuiton, David Yurman, Target, Moxy Hotel’s, Porsche, The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Roche Bobois, The Mall of America, The Timberwolves, The Vikings, and the Grand Opening of Mrs Harris goes to Paris. How many can you do?
Depending on the style of sketch each person takes anywhere from 6-10 minutes. I guarantee a set number of guest sketches per hour, finish as many as possible onsite, and mail remaining artworks to guests after the event.
•5 x 7” sketches: 10 guests guaranteed per hour with ~ 6-8 guests/hr drawn onsite & the remainder mailed.
• 6 x 9” sketches: 8 guests guaranteed per hour, with ~ 5-7 guests /hr drawn onsite & the remainder mailed.
• 8 x 10“/ 9 x 12” sketches: 6 guests guaranteed per hour, with ~ 4-6 guests/hr drawn onsite & the remainder mailed.
• 4 x 6″ Digital Sketches: 12 guests guaranteed per hour, with ~ 8-10 guests/hr drawn onsite & the remainder mailed.
• 5×7” Black ink sketches: 16 guests guaranteed per hour.
• 8×10” Black ink sketches: 12 guests guaranteed per hour.
• Sketch poses: Full-body, torso, or portrait sketches.
Xtra Speed: Please Write me a note if interested in faceless, and or black ink sketches for maximum speed.
Do you travel? Yes! I travel around the U.S. & worldwide for events. For locations outside the Twin Cities Area, & NYC, there is a travel fee which starts at $1,300.
What mediums do you use? Most often I’ll used Ink & Copic marker, +pencil, or draw digitally on an IPAD. For digital illustrations sketches can be printed onsite & or emailed to guests.
What does a typical live wedding illustration booking look like? For most weddings I’ll begin sketching at cocktail hour and continue through the end of the evening (5-8+hours). I’ve also had couples schedule me to arrive earlier in the day to begin drawing family and wedding party before the guests arrive. Guests often exceed the amount I can illustrate during a wedding so I offer the option to finish sketching from photos at home and mail the additional artworks to guests.
What are your rates? My rate starts at $305/hour (includes a host to manage the line for 30+ guests). My minimum is 2 hours, 3 hours for weddings (though most wedding bookings are between 5-8 hours), and max 13 hours.
Do you draw Large Scale Scene’s, & Ceremony Illustrations? Yes! Please email me to chat about what you have in mind!
What is a Host? The Host manages the line so I can focus on illustrating & complete more sketches onsite. They photograph guests & airdrop the photo’s to my IPAD for me to draw from, collects addresses as needed, manage the sign up sheet & guest tally, & give ETA’s for sketch completion.
Can you find additional illustrators for larger events? I can send you a list of live illustrators contact information or work with artists you’ve found!
What paper size & packaging do you provide? Sketches are drawn on 5 x 7” , 6x 9”, 8 x 10”, or 9 x 12 ” card stock & packaged in a clear plastic sleeve with a backing board. (Ikea Fiskbo 5 x 7” Frames are $3 each & available upon request).
Can you pre-print my Logo or illustrate a custom border or Background? Yes! Logo preprinting costs $100 & Illustrated Backgrounds start at $150.
Can you draw realistically sized guest sketches? Yes, typically I draw the elongated body fashion illustration aesthetic though I’ve drawn realistic (still stylized) body sizes for a handful of events! Please let me know if this interests you.
What is your cancellation policy? To recieve a refund on any balance payments, the event must be cancelled 30 days prior to the date (except deposit payments which are non-refundable.)
What set up do you need onsite? A 6- 8‘ table or table with space to display the artworks, and 2 chairs within 40’ of an outlet works best.I can make do with smaller table arrangements as needed.
How do I reserve a date? To reserve a date I request a signed service agreement and $275.00 deposit; for locations outside the Twin Cities area & NYC the deposit is 50% of the total due.
